As we move into the warmer months, our heavy equipment is being put to more use and left on job sites, ready for the next day. We often forget the simple necessities to ensure the equipment in our care is up to speed as it should be. National Equipment Register (NER) recently shared their Spring Equipment Maintenance: The Crime Prevention Tune-up stating:
“As fleet managers, rental companies and equipment owners hurry through their catch up on maintenance priorities before the summer season, NER asks that you take a minute to include a “Crime Prevention Tune-up” to address any deferred equipment security maintenance. [See the link below for] suggestions to keep in mind while checking tires, replacing cutting edges, and deciding whether that seat can go another season.”
